For this project I was challenged to come up with a prototype of a refresh for the Gap store fleet and show what a modernized store concept could look like. This was designed as the blueprint to be rolled out to the fleet of stores. Gap is well known as a denim brand. Because of this, I wanted to create a store environment that celebrated denim in an impactful way and created an entire experience around denim. I worked with the Gap creative team to create the Gap Denim Studio. We used blue as the grounding color to pull the store together. I resorted and re- edited the existing line of clothes. The newly introduced customization studio was where customers could embroider, patch, hem, and customize their Gap denim. The store was reimagined using paint, neon, scaffolding and new imagery. Localized marketing within a one-mile radius announced the re-opening and launch of the newly created Gap Denim Studio.
